Our Wellness Programs provide a comprehensive range of health promotion, education, and community‑based initiatives offered across multiple locations between April and October 2026. These programs are designed to support physical health, emotional well‑being, skill development, and social connection for individuals and families at various life stages.
Programs Available
Arthritis Pain Management (All Locations)
This program is intended for individuals experiencing arthritis‑related pain. Sessions are delivered by an interdisciplinary team consisting of a Registered Dietitian, Social Worker, Fitness Instructor, and Physiotherapist, with a focus on pain management strategies and quality‑of‑life improvement.
Baby and Me (Keele Rogers)
Designed for parents and caregivers with children aged 0–1 year, this program offers structured circle time and educational sessions facilitated by health and social service professionals.
Childcare Providers Training (Lawrence Heights and Jane Street Hub)
This training is suitable for individuals who care for children aged 0–12 years or who are interested in establishing a home‑based childcare service. The program provides foundational knowledge and skills relevant to early childhood care.
Community Garden (Bathurst Finch Hub)
During the gardening season, youth and adult volunteers are invited to participate in planting and maintenance activities. Program participants contribute to the donation of fresh produce to the local food bank, supporting food access within the community.
Gentle Fitness (Drop‑In) (Bathurst Finch and Jane Street Hubs)
A low‑impact fitness offering for adults aged 18 and over who may benefit from maintaining physical activity and engaging in social interaction in a relaxed environment.

Healthy Living (Fitness and Healthy Eating) (All Locations)
This program supports individuals managing conditions such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or weight‑related concerns. Sessions are facilitated by a Registered Dietitian, Social Worker, and Fitness Instructor.
Older Adults Club (All Locations)
Open to adults aged 55 and over, this program encourages social engagement, skill development, peer learning, and volunteer involvement.
Perimenopause and Menopause for Women (Virtual)
This virtual program provides education on symptom management and chronic disease prevention. Participants learn from a Certified Menopause Specialist/Registered Nurse, Registered Dietitian, and Social Worker.
Prenatal Group (Keele Rogers)
Intended for individuals who are pregnant, this group offers education and support delivered by health and social service providers.
Resident‑Led Produce Markets (Various Locations)
This initiative offers residents an opportunity to develop skills, generate income, and assume leadership roles in local food systems, while enhancing access to healthy foods for community members.
Seniors Online (Digital Equity) (All Locations)
Designed for adults aged 55 and over, this program supports the continued development of digital skills, including the use of new tools, applications, and online creativity.
