We are looking for three new Board members.
We are looking for:
- People who are reflective of the populations we serve; members of the 2SLBTQI+: Latinx, Filipinx, Seniors and youth and BIPOC communities
- Live and/or work in one of the communities Unison serves
- People who have demonstrated leadership in health equity and understand Unison’s commitment to community health
- Expertise in communications and finance
- People who are at least 18 years old and eligible to be members of the corporation
We are particularly interested in new Board Members who:
- Have experience in governance of not-for-profit organizations;
- Have experience in the broader health or social service sector;
- Have experience in the Finance and Communications
- Will be comfortable participating on a Board to make decisions and work as a team; and
- Are able to commit to a minimum of one to two evening meetings per month
