Jane Street Hub

The Jane Street Hub is a centre that brings together several organizations to offer community services and health care to residents of Weston, Mount Dennis, Trethewey and the surrounding area. The hub also provides space for community groups to use, including a kitchen and meeting rooms.

Services Available

The agencies with permanent space at the Hub offer a wide range of services:

Macaulay Child Development Centre runs an Early Years Centre to provide children 0-6 and their parents (or caregivers) with parent-child and parent education programs.

Midaynta Community Services provides settlement services and other programs that advances education by providing courses, seminars, meetings, counseling and other support services for refugees, immigrants and youths in need.

Toronto Public Health Dental Clinic

Eligible clients may access free dental services including examinations and x-rays, cleaning, fillings and extractions, some root canal treatments as well as emergency and urgent dental care.

Unison Health and Community Services offers primary health care (family medicine), counselling, diabetes education, chiropody (foot care) and health-related workshops and groups.

Yorktown Child and Family Centre 

Yorktown Family Services’ West Toronto Youth Hub is based at the Jane St. Hub. A designated Youth Wellness Hubs Ontario (YWHO) site, the West Toronto Youth Wellness Hub (WTYWH) offers low-barrier access to a wide range of high-quality integrated services for children and youth in West Toronto age 12 to 29, as well as families and caregivers. Services provided include mental health therapy, social engagement programs, specialized groups, and more. The WTYWH is a safe, welcoming space and all services are free of charge; no health card is required.

Yorktown Family Services (YFS) is an accredited child and youth mental health agency and Violence Against Women services provider and has been serving Toronto’s communities for over 30 years. Our objective is to create healthy communities by fulfilling our mission to “support and equip women, children, youth and families to create positive change in their lives”. Yorktown’s motto is “You have come to the right place”. We demonstrate this through an integrated care model of service to ensure seamless pathways to any programs or services that a client would benefit from. A warm connection is made for clients to Yorktown’s programs and connecting them with our extensive network of partners ensuring that clients receive the support they require.
