Mothers from Afar, Youth from Here

In collaboration with the Centre for Spanish Speaking People (CSSP) and Yorktown Family Services, Unison Health and Community Services will be launching a new inter-generational program called Mothers from Afar, Youth From Here. This will be a 5 week group dedicated to LatinX youth and mothers who are 16 yrs+ (mothers and youth do not need to be related in order to participate) with the idea of developing a better understanding of their respective realities. This group will be facilitated in both English and Spanish.

But before the launch of the program in September 2019, facilitators want to hear from community members so please join us on Wednesday August 14, 2019 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the CSSP  for some refreshments as we discuss culture, community, and family.
