Welcome Policy campaign has been initiated by members of the Bathurst-Finch Network steering committee and others to improve access to community recreation in Toronto and make Antibes Community Centre a priority ‘free’ centre. Endorsers include Family Service Toronto, Griffin Centre, Jewish Family and Child, JIAS Toronto, North York Women’s Centre, LAMP Community Heath Centre, Stonegate Community Health Centre and others.

The main goal of the initiative is to encourage the Unison community to vote. We have put together a brochure for staff, clients and community members outlining issues for the municipal election on October 25th. It has information about how to vote and why voting is important. The brochure also contains responses from the top three mayoral candidates telling Unison how they would spend municipal tax dollars supporting our vision of healthy communities. Please see the brochure for more information and feel free to pass it along.
