The Response and Recovery Project builds the capacity of community members and service providers to respond to, and recover from, violence in the community. We are a Unison Health and Community Services project funded by the City of Toronto.
The Project officially began in 2013 in the Lawrence Heights and Neptune communities, but Unison's history of crisis response and recovery work is rich. Based on the success of the pilot, the Response and Recovery Project has relocated to Wards 11 and 12.
On this website, you will find many of the resources developed for the Project, as well as the Toolkit that has been developed for other organizations to bring the workshops to their communities.
If you have any questions about what you find on this site, or about the project in general, please feel free to contact the Response and Recovery Training Coordinator, Millicent Dyer, at 416-653-5400 ext. 1001.
